Sylvie Evabs, 60, is one of the London Underground’s 200 cleaners and She loves her job. She lives with her son, Robert, and his wife, Katie.

From Monday to Friday She has dinner with them and then travels to work on the Underground. She arrives at 11.30 pm and puts on a yellow jacket, trainers and a mask.

The Underground stops at 1 am. Every night she cleans about 20 metres of track. She works in group of 12-14 people.

Sylvie gets home at about 5.30 in the morning. She has some breakfast and goes to bed. On Saturdays she gets up after two hours because She wants to sleep again on Saturday night.
