Acara yang digelar tampaknya gubernur menekankan kepada generasi hari ini dan mendatang menggelorakan keteladanan dan kesederhanaan Bung Hatta dalam kehidupan berumah tangga, bermasyarakat dan bernegara. Ia mengimbau warga Jakarta yang belajar tercatàt 16 ribuan mendapat bea siswa.
