Hal itu disampaikan Risman Thomas, pengagum Bung Hatta sekaligus ketua panitia ziarah, saat kegiatan mengenang Bung Hatta di TPU Tanah Kusir, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (14/8).
Risman menilai sikap hidup sederhana Bung Hatta telah menginspirasi dirinya hingga sukses berkarier sebagai staf di Ditjen Sospol Kemendagri, wartawan LKBN Antara, pejabat eselon di Pemprov DKI Jakarta, serta dosen di berbagai perguruan tinggi.
“Kejujuran dan kesederhanaan Bung Hatta harus diteladani generasi saat ini agar bisa meraih kesuksesan,” ujarnya.
Selain memberikan kesan tentang Bung Hatta, Risman juga menyinggung kolaborasi komunitas Jakarta bersama Gerakan Masyarakat Peduli Indonesia (GMPI) terkait situasi politik terkini.(Risto)
